FRUIT DISHES
with ARMORIAL
a set of four Victorian sterling
silver fruit dishes, Sibray, Hall
& Co., London, dated 1889,
1890 & 1891 to the underneath
8.25″ W x 10.75″ L x 1.75″ H
average weight 243 grams
each shaped oval is richly embossed
with a broad border of leaf scrolls
and berries, crimped at the rim, the
centre engraved with the arms of
George Henry Arthur Vaughan,
6th Earl of Lisburne:

George Henry Arthur Vaughan became
the 6th Earl of Lisburne upon the death
of his father in 1888, which was the same
year as his marriage to Evelyn Probyn
